Creekside Post Acute (CPA) is seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Supervisor to join our team at a 59-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Yucaipa, CA. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about providing high-quality, safe, and resident-centered meals while effectively managing dietary operations.
Our facility includes:
35-bed Subacute Unit
24-bed Skilled Nursing Unit
Location:
35253 Ave H. Yucaipa, CA. 92399
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily dietary department operations.
* Lead, train, and schedule dietary staff.
* Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident's prescribed diets and preferences.
* Maintain compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), CMS, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
* Work closely with Nursing, Activities, Social Services, and the interdisciplinary team.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, temperatures, sanitation, and meal service.
* Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation.
* Assist with menu planning and therapeutic diets.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs.
* Participate in surveys, audits, and quality assurance activities.
* Address resident concerns and ensure excellent customer service.
* Shift time varies (8-hour shifts as a salaried employee)
Qualifications:
* Previous dietary/food service supervisory experience, preferably in a SNF, subacute, hospital, or healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of therapeutic and modified diets.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
* ServSafe certification.
* DSS certification.
* Previous long-term care experience strongly preferred.
